Terms and Conditions of Hire.

1.) Deposits
Deposits are required in order to confirm a booking with Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire. £30 per outfit is required. The amount taken for a deposit may alter dependant on various factors at the discretion of Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire.
A 'cooling off' period of 48 hours is given after a deposit is left, after this period the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.
Deposits and orders are non-transferable to a third party under any circumstance.

2.) Offers
The offer available only applies when suits are booked in block amounts. For example, six suits must be booked together as opposed to booking three and adding three suits at a later date. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer available.
The offer only applies to morning wear (therefore, Tailcoat, Edwardian and Victorian styles). The offer will not include any booking for designer suits.
It will under no circumstance be applied to evening wear.
A condition of the offer being allowed is that the suits are booked with the minimum of two accessories (handkerchiefs are not accounted as an accessory in the offer).

3.) Payment
All payments due to Dapper Dan Suit Hire must be completed no later than 90 days prior to the wedding date. Any payments falling outside this must be cleared immediately.
Cancellations that occur within 90 days of the Wedding Date will not be liable for any monies to be returned. Cancellations within 90days of the wedding date with outstanding balances due to Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire must still be cleared.
Cancellations on orders where an early settlement discount has been awarded, no monies will be refunded within 130days of the wedding date.
Cancellations of suits must be in writing from each party involved i.e. bride and groom. In the event of any refunds due letters must both state to which party they are to be awarded. Refunds will be issued within 28days of cancellation date.

4.) Fittings
All adults in a party must be measured at least 42days prior to the wedding date. Adults measured outside of the time period cannot be guaranteed correctly fitting garments due to a shortage of time in which we have to operate.
All children within a part must be measured between 42 days and 21days of the wedding date. Measurements taken outside of this period cannot be guaranteed correctly fitting garments due to a shortage of time in which we have to operate.
All changes to sizes recorded by Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire will incur a £30 changeover charge. Changes made to sizes less than 42days prior to the wedding date cannot be guaranteed correctly fitting garments due to a shortage of time in which we have to operate.
All members of the party must attend a fitting. In the event of sizes being provided by a third party, we are not responsible for ill measurement on their behalf.
Any alterations made to suits will be of a temporary nature so that the garment can return to its previous specification.

5.) Period of Hire
The period of hire begins on the morning of the function and expires 09.00AM the morning after the given function date.
At all times the garments and items hired remain the properties of Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire.
Collection of suits will occur at a prearranged time between Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire and yourself. This can be changed to the morning of the function at the discretion of Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire.

Suits must be returned the following day after use by 9.30AM.
Suits returned after this time will attract an initial surcharge of £40.00 for the first day and £20.00 per day after this that the outfit is late.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check the suit for the correct sizing prior to the outfit being worn. As in most cases suits are collected three-four days prior to the function date, modifications to sizes must be bought to the attention of Dapper Dan Formal Suit Hire by 10.00AM the next working day following collection. Modifications notified after this point cannot be guaranteed to be achieved.

6.) Damage
All damage to garments must be paid for upon return of the outfit. Damaged goods include those which are heavily stained beyond the ability of dry cleaning methods.
All missing items must be paid for upon return of the outfit.
It is the responsibilities of the customer to check for damage/missing items when the suits are collected.

7.) Quality of Goods Hired
All goods abide by a 15-20% level of colour tolerance.
